Priorities

Oh priorities! They are a difficult thing to maintain while in college, and in everyone's day to day life. With so many tasks to accomplish, we find ourselves stretching for too thin. Or at least I do! If I am not in class at school or working on a paper in the library, I am at work trying to scrape up enough money to pay my monthly bills. On my down time, when I get any, I try to see my friends and family regularly, making promises to each of them that I cannot always keep. There is not enough time in the day! So, while I am in school I have to pull myself away from things I want to do, like hang out with my friends or go to a party, because I have work to do. It can be stressful and depressing. The life of a college student, I'll tell you!

  1. Jenna! I am with you! I am so busy, especially at the end of the semester. But remember, there are only three weeks left and then it is summer for all of us!

  2. Smiling because it doesn't change much after school if you are a busy, active person. I know I fill every second of down-time with projects. Heaven forbid relaxation (unscheduled) occur!

Sounds like you are a very organized person, though.

Notes: elves stretching for too thin. FAR

  3. I completely agree!!! I am very happy to be done with school, graduation is approaching and while everyone is sad to be leaving the college life, I am very happy. It is stressful and hard to juggle everything I have at hand, 19 credits, a full-time job, and a port-time job. And I know how you feel, trying to please everyone is sometimes impossible.
